How much should I expect to pay for a nail airbrush?

I had a bad experience at a salon and will not go back, and the brush doesn't do as good of a job when french-tippingHow much should I expect to pay for a nail airbrush?
there are a number of airbrushes being marketed specifically for nails. I don't know that they have a specific advantage at all.

I'd go for a double action, as you can control the amount of paint (as that's what you'll be using to airbrush your nails, not nail enamel - badger brand makes an excellent white - and you apply a top coat of clear nail enamel with a brush after). I do not recommend any airbrush that is made of plastic. Plastic vs. Metal...metal always wins.

Iwata makes some entry level airbrushes - a series called the Revolution...may be perfect for what you want to do. But it isn't the airbush that's gonna get you with cost...it's the airsource.

Please consult the sites below, both are known for great prices.

I think there are some instructional DVD's or Video's by Lisa Fujon if you wanna get fancy. How much should I expect to pay for a nail airbrush?
a) yes you can use your Dad's compressor. As long as it's got a regulator (to regulate the air pressure through the airbrush) %26amp; water trap.

b) when it fires up it's LOUD.

You may have to purchase some additional fittings to get the hose on (something else you may have to buy).

U should ask your fiends to where they go. Are even a co-worker. If none of them get to a specific place ask your hair stylist for suggestion. U should not have a problem when u r doing french tip to where u need to do nail airbrush. Prices differ and depends on what city and how much they want to charge. Most places its like $1 to $5 a nail but like i said really depends on the place. Try once more to do a full set with french tips. Watch the person and if it hurts tell them. I went to a new place b/c its was closer to me the guy did my nails like 15 min. It hurt and looked like i had them for 2 weeks. I went back the next day told them to keep the money and went back to my original place and never look back. I go there from now on and will not go any place else. good luck.
from personal experience the most ive been charged was $5 for all the nails some places that ive been to have done it for free with a full set
Sorry, I don't even know what the airbrush process is...never had a manicure or pedicure and have been told that fake stuff, beautiful as it may be, is harmful to your nails ..so why would I do it? Too it costs a days pay to have all that stuff done...I do my own, not magnificent by any stretch but they will do.
